Tommy Thacher, President/Proprietor

Tommy is the President and Proprietor of Telluride Brewing Company, leading the brewery’s mission with a focus on sales and marketing. Prior to starting TBC, Tommy taught history at the Telluride Mountain School for five years. Tommy came to Telluride after graduating from Colorado College in 2004 and spent his first four years here in the food and beverage industry with a local brewpub and some of Telluride’s finest restaurants. In his free time, Tommy enjoys skiing, live music, rafting, and running with his basset hound “Sir Gomez.”

Chris "Fish" Fish

Chris Fish “Fish”, Chief Brewing Officer/Proprietor

Having home-brewed his first batch of beer in his bathtub more than 17 years ago, Fish has become an award-winning brew-master, earning both a Gold (2005) and Bronze (2003) prize at the Great American Beer Festival, the largest judged beer festival in the world. Fish first worked in a brewery washing kegs in Boulder while he earned a degree in Physical Geography in 1999 from the University of Colorado. Over the next 3 years, he worked his way up to assistant brewer and then head brewer before taking a brewmaster job in Steamboat. He first came to Telluride for the Brews and Blues Festival in 2002 and accepted a brewmaster position with the leading brewpub in Telluride.

When he’s not brewing beer, Fish enjoys snowboarding, split-boarding, hiking and white-water rafting.

Brian Gavin

Brian Gavin, Chief Operating Officer

Brian Gavin, who goes by his last name, is from Atlanta, GA, is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, and has been in Telluride since 2002. Gavin moved to Telluride from Seattle following a successful software sales career.

After being transferred to Telluride, Gavin made the transition from software sales to real estate and has never looked back. “Telluride is beautiful but it is certainly not a technology hub, so I leveraged my corporate sales background to move into real estate sales and couldn’t be happier. You can’t beat the Telluride lifestyle!” In addition to serving as COO of Telluride Brewing Company, Gavin is currently a Broker with Telluride Sotheby’s International Realty, and has an office on Main St. at 119 W. Colorado Ave. Gavin is an avid skier, sailor, and fly-fisherman and cherishes spending time with his five-year old son, Gigger. The beauty and serenity of the region make Telluride special, and is a place Gavin intends to call home permanently.

John Lehman

John Lehman, Art Director

John is Telluride Brewing Company’s Art Director, executing the company’s vision in all visual media platforms, including the logo and marketing material. A 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama, John has been living in Telluride since 2007 working as a graphic artist. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, Frisbee golf and live music.

Charlie Ingram

Charlie Ingram, Front Range Sales and Marketing Representative

You could say Charlie has adventure in his blood. After graduating college in Charleston, SC he headed for Telluride with ski-bumming and globetrotting on his mind. His craft beer passion developed while delicately balancing a bartending gig in the local brewpub seven months of the year and traveling the remaining five. Ten years, 40+ countries, and six continents later, Charlie resides in Denver where he enjoys rafting, biking, hiking and live music.
