Batch 1000

1000 batches - all pumped out of a 15 barrel brewhouse, all mashed by hand with a kayak paddle, and all brewed with gratitude and love for the town of Telluride and our fellow beer lovers throughout Colorado. Our brewmaster, Fish, wanted to do something special with our 1000th batch when it came out of tanks almost two years ago, so we put this barleywine in five of the best whiskey barrels we could find and aged it for as long as we could wait. This 10.7% monster is a gift for everyone who's helped us over the past 8 years - a beer brewed as big as Barley, Fish's St. Bernese, who was basically a puppy when this beer was dreamt up.
