Katie Fleming

Katie is the General Manager for our Mountain Village Brewpub. She started with the company five years ago as a bartender after being laid off from her events management position during the COVID pandemic. She grew up as an Air Force brat, moving seven times by the time she was fourteen. She spent high school and college in Florida, attending the University of Florida. Eventually her wanderlust demanded a drastic change from the status quo of suburban living and grinding out a 9-to-5 job. She quit her job and left home to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. Five months and 2,200 miles later she knew living in Florida was no longer an option. She decided to move to the mountains and ended up in Telluride. Once there, she went on to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail, the Continental Divide Trail, and the Colorado Trail. Whenever she isn’t pouring beers behind the bar or managing the restaurant she can be found running and hiking the local trails or traveling the world during off-seasons. She calls home a six window school bus that she converted into a tiny home all by herself.
